Nice series Chris. It's nice to have perks of working in a place like that. I am so jealous.:)

Thanks for the comments! The internet has been pretty bad up here and I have been busy hiking/camping so this is the first time I have posted pics since getting here. I will post shots more frequently in the future!

Wow, Chris, what a great experience for you. The photos are great, but your memories will far surpass them.

Very true! I have been trying to take as many shots as I can, but seeing as how I am getting big into backpacking I can't carry around as much photography gear as I would like because it's just too heavy/bulky. I am still having a total blast though and I'm happy with some of the shots I am getting, even though most are snapshot-like. So yes, to sum it up, the memories and experiences are the biggest part.

I'm always a little disappointed by how mountains or epic scenery translate to photos. It never looks nearly as impressive in a photo as it does right in front of you! The photos help you remember all the small details though. :)

Very Nice Chris..

I'll be out there next week for a week. Any tips on where to go for a day or so around Yellowstone. We are looking for wildlife and good places to photograph.

Thanks for sharing
Kurt

Beautiful pictures. Tough to choose, but I think 6 and 7 are my faves.
