Good old days

Can we say Hemi! This blown hemi's run on 90% nitro. Some reason they are looking like crap when I dowsize them below 100k. Anyone have a method I can get better results than what is going on with mine?

Love those Hemi's! When you resize, I hope you're not jumping straight from large file to small. That'll hurt your photos in a hurry. Reduce them in increments, a little at a time, like in two or three stages.

I always thought it was worse to do it in steps.

Like the angle and detail on the tires in #2...

There must be another reason. I resize mine in one step from the converted tiff.

Just looked at "Couple more rods" & they seem the same. I think you're oversharpening. If it's a full size tiff, 2,000 X 3,000 try sharpening at 100, .6, 0 after you resize & see how that looks.
