The reason I am starting this thread is to help other out there when trying to figure out which bag to get for the Speedotron 22" BD with Speedo Grid.

If you are using the Speedo with the Kacey grid than you have the option of the Kacey bag as listed in this thread:
https://photography-on-the.net …peedotron+beauty+dish+bag

So I bought a new Speedo BD + grid last week http://www.bhphotovideo.com …_Dish_Grid_Reflector.html (external link)
and I wanted to get a bag to protect it at the same time. I started looking and looking on these forums and in other places on the net and people talk about either using a drums bag, christmas bag or Kacey bag.

As you know the grid from Speedotron fits on the outside lip of the BD as opposed as the Kacey one that fits on the inside and is a lot thicker (about 3 inches), in top of that the Speedo BD is like 8 inches deep so in total you are looking at about 10 inches depth!

I ordered the Hensel 22" bag http://www.bhphotovideo.com …6177-REG/Hensel_9900.html (external link) but after the shipment was already gone I realized it was only 6 inches deep!!! So before even getting the package I was convinced that bag was going straight back to B&H for a refund.

Well I am happy to announce that I was wrong! Thankfully the BD fits nicely with the Grid attached. It is a nice bag with enough padding (not a lot but I think more than adequate). So I am glad it worked out for me. Sure the whole rig is about 10 inches deep but because of the shape is protudes a bit on the back but is not hard to close at all...

So just wanted to give heads up for those of you that might be on the same situation I was last week that the Hensel Bag definetly works with the Speedo BD.

Nowadays I shoot Nikon, but deep inside I am still a Canon lover... plus Nikonians don't have a cool place to hang like POTN :)
