I'm looking for a hood for my Canon 85/1.8, I currently have the ET-65 III but I prefer screwing on the hoods. Anyone know if the ES-71 II for 50/1.4 fits on the 85/1.8?

jdang307 Senior Member 780 posts Joined Aug 2009 More info | Jul 14, 2010 18:34 | #5 I use a metal one from ebay that screws into the filter threads. Someone mentioned this is worse since if it gets bumped it'll transfer the shock internally. So I took it off. It was a well made hood though.
