Hi I have a lead on some Bowens 400B monolights.
I'm just starting out.
I understand you can no longer get them serviced and if the bulb blowes It may be cheaper to pitch them than buy a bulb but it seems a deal.

My question is I am nervous aboout this issue called Sync voltage.
As I understand it they have a high sync voltage so I should not connect the sync cord to my 5 D.
I just ordered a set of the RF 602 triggers off Ebay. I can not find a spec for these on the sync voltage
Will this set up be safe or should I pass ??

Oh 2* Bowens 400B with 2 light stand, brollies, chords & case for $150.

I think you'll be fine. The absolute worst thing that would happen is the monolight might fry the RF 602, but thats pretty unlikely.

I think the RF-602 are good for max 12V sync voltage.
