hmm...not sure what fixable vignetting is, but there is vignetting (not just dark corners, but intrusion of the circular frame into the shot) at 20mm on a 17-40 w/the vari-n-duo...i'd agree you're free of vignetting by about 25mm on that lens...

Don't have a shot at 20, but here's a few test shots that I took a while back to give you an idea. Its a great filter, as long as you're okay with working around some limitations. After all, it is 14mm thick.

Thanks for the examples, they really help. Many of my shots are at the wider end and it looks like from these examples, I would not be able to use this lens for them. Have to give it some thought.
