Going on a 10 day trip. Driving from Denver so I get to take as much gear as I want. I am very excited. I have been wanting to visit GNP for a long time.

Please report back on your trip. I hope to go to GNP next year and would appreciate any tips you can provide.

A year ago I was leaving for Glacier about now to. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. The 10 days should give you great chances to capture images that will last. We spent most of our time on the east side of the park and there are so many great places there that you shouldn't run out of photo ops.
I will be looking forward to seeing what you bring back with you.

I've always heard Glacier was a "Photographer and Backpacker's Paradise" and now that I am closer to it (used to live in Missouri) I may have to take a jaunt out there.

Be sure and share your images and experiences with us!

It is a great place to photograph. If you get near St Mary's try the Park Cafe for pie.

I need to keep track of this.

We were there in 1993 when the Midwest was flooded. GNP was the highlight of a cross-country trip. Impressive.

I just got back. I will provide a write up and a link to some pictures in the coming days.

One thing I will say now is that I have been very fortunate in my life to visit some beautiful places. Glacier ranks at the top. It left me breathless.
