Took these today, approached the front exterior shot similar to Mr. Kelley's technique, it definitely made the front pop more.

It was a small home, so lighting was more about placement than anything...

Haven't posted in a while. This is from a shoot I did on a condo by the beach.

How did you get the photo of the exterior of the house to be above the fireplace?

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

ummm... he edited the one of outside first and used Photoshop to put it above the fireplace.
I sometimes add my own photos to houses that have to much empty wall space to fill them out a bit makes the house look more complete. although i have never used a photo of the house itself.

Nice touch.. Didn't even notice it which I think adds to the effect!

This is a shot I took recently of a hotel in Barbados to be used in a print ad. I've only just ordered the TS-E 17 so unfortunately I was stuck using the 24-70 for this one and I lost a lot after correcting perspective. The foreground areas had to be lit using the flashlight app for my phone since I forgot all my strobes at home.

Not exactly. I had five days to shoot it and had originally planned for the weekend but decided to pass in one afternoon at dusk just to get an idea of the lightning. My camera gear was in the car but not the lighting kit. The sky was nice so I just shot it that day.

I have to ask, where do you pint the flash on interior shots? Do you bounce via the ceiling?
