I didn't use a flash

What does your workflow look like? Your images are very clean and don't have that typical HDR grunge look.

Thanks :)

I'm not really sure to put about my workflow tbh, as it seems quite simple - but here goes:

I Push and Pull the exposure in Adobe RAW editor quite a bit, using recover and fill light etc. Then I'll paint in specific areas of the shot which need further exposure adjustment using the paint brush or Grad filter.

Much of the time thats it, but I will then pick out the 'best' few and open them in Photoshop. Here I'll adjust and clean them up further, removing anything distracting like Health and Safety signs, weeds etc etc. Thats much more time consuming hence only the few are done (though they are the only ones which make it onto my photostream)

I'll shoot a couple of different exposures for Interior shots, exposing for internal then external areas - then PS them together later. Shooting them at Golden hour is perhaps the better way to do this, though I've never been able to do that yet.

Hope that helps

That second shot has some great tones and textures to it. This may be the wrong thread, but nice shot none-the-less. Keep it up!

These are from a recent shoot of a couple of model homes.

All taken with my 40D, Sigma WA and single 580EXII mounted on the hot shoe. I either bounced off the ceiling or off the wall behind the camera.

My biggest challenge with these shoots is my attention to detail. I have a habit of not looking the room over to ensure that the furniture or decorations are straight and neat.

Architectural Toggers - what's your take on vertical perspective within architectural photography?

Should the vertical lines be straight and parallel? or backed off 20-30% and thus showing some vertical perspective?

Discussion emerging in my Modern Industrial buildings thread - discuss :)

Wow, that's a pretty nice space. Looks to be a bit out of my price range, though.

How do you deal with white balance when using HDR for exterior/interior shots?

I set my own in LR for these then painted the windows to get a better interior colour in Lightroom.. Is there a simpler way?
