I do the work for a lighting designer so have to be able to show off the lighting created by him.. HDR seems to be the only way to show the patterns the light creates and with this they have to have the HDR to pull it off unfortunately.. Nothing else works as well!

That's not true imo - you can still show light and have darks in the shot. In fact darks/shadows should be there to help illustrate the light imo

I have got a few questions. I am sorry if those are answered already somewhere around here:

- Do you guys use a Polarizer for interior and exterior shots?
- If you shoot like the Mike Kelley way, how do you trigger the camera? I have got a wireless trigger but that thing doesn't work from such distance. So do you have to run to your camera all those times?
- And if you have a longer exposure do you pop the flash once in one exposure or could you pop more often within one picture? And why?

my answer is no, and if you are using Mike's technique, you must be able to trigger remotely.

I think you've over cooked em a bit Matt.. Not as good as the ones you did last time. 2's the best of the bunch, just a bit hot on the stair lights (right side).. ;)

I've been recently requested by my company to do some interior photoshoots, which will be used for the marketing brochures to promote the local cabinet makers.

I have no experience about interior design photography before, even I had to take a crash course in a day before photoshoot by reading the e-book by Scott Hargis.

Here are some of the results that have been featured & published in the brochures.
I am quite pleased with the outcomes, but I still have a lot of room for improvement.

An architect and friend of mine asked me to shoot a recent addition to a residence he designed. I had a ridiculously short time-frame to get the shot in, which really compromised the setup, but I think they came out OK in spite of some distractions (I don't like all those chairs everywhere on the exterior, and I would like to have removed 50% of them). The images are all 6-exposure HDRs processed in SNS-HDR and I cheated a bit by using the "skylight" filter in Color Efex Pro 4 to make the exterior light seem even warmer than it was.
