New sets from three different locations.

To be honest I wasn't really happy with the outcome of my photos on these three sets.
So many difficulties, especially sun glare on the KTC's bathroom which was a real PITA to remove.
And really bland looking kitchen with tricky lightings on Essentials' kitchen in Shelleys.

Well I hope that my clients are happy with these photos.

sometimes the lighting just kills you. I like the angles and perspectives at least, even if the lighting doesn't wow. There was a little too much clutter on the Cabinets shots. the cookbooks on #3 and the cutting board/bowl near the microwave on #2 draw the eye over there instead of through the space... I like taking new construction or staged pics when they clear stuff out, makes life much easier.

Thanks for your suggestion revluke, very much appreciated.

I totally agree with you with taking new construction or staged pics.

On all my photoshoot jobs so far, I only have around 1.5 - 3 hours maximum on each house, depending on how much stuff I have to take photos of. That also includes travel time from & back to the office.

If I had more time on each photoshoot, I would have spent some times to clean up & tidying up the stuff. Especially like you have pointed out on the cookbook & cutting board.

I normally told my client to clean & tidy up the area as much as they can, but seldom their perspective of clean & tidy are different than us.

There are no shadows.

There are shadows but I was trying to keep them to a minimum as to not look overbearing, I will work on adding some more.

Sorry, but all of the virtual objects look very phony to me. The kettle and blender are the worst offenders. I think you'd be better off without the virtual objects.

I will have to post the originals without anything it looks very bland.

Actually the master bed is the worst offender...by far. The perspective lines of the end of the bed and room is painfully out of alignment. One reason this really is an unworkable experiment is that any objects composited in will typically have wrong lighting and reflections for the scene. The dining table and stools should have reflections from the window and cabinets in them for instance.

I agree and it's a lot of work to get everything just right. The angles are the worst since I'm not working with 3D images trying to get something shot at the exact same angle is tough.

Well I must say it has worked excellently in getting a lot of activity generated in a very short period of time. I've had over a half dozen showings in just a few days. I have had a comment it looked better in the photos than when they got there...

Thank you all for the constructive comments...

Been playing with it briefly this morning. Looks very promising ... not always perfect, but even when it's "off" it still gets you that much closer with a single click.

Hey virsago_mk2!!
That's really awesome :) :)
And a good state of mind for making your house decor-able with "three different things from different location" I wish your house would be near-by for me so that it would be easier for me to see it again and again :) :) :) :)

Got some room shots coming up.

Small tight spaces with total light control (no artificial ambient present or ambient).

Any advice on lighting that?

I was thinking diffused video lights or small flash.

If I may suggest, stick with small flash + large diffuser like white umbrella.
Get more than one flash, minimum three would be sufficient.

QUOTED IMAGE

gorgeous image! really nice

looks like might be a bit of pin-cushion effect in columns, or are my eyes fooling me?

if so, may I ask if you have tried correcting in LR or PS? Maybe you already did as much as you could.

Regardless, it is beautiful!
