Pixel_Junkie,

simply gorgeous shots!

in this image above, just interested, was the TV image captured as is in the original? Capturing TV screens can be so difficult, if this is "as is" captured in original, could you explain your procedure in getting this shot??

love your work!

Hi William,

thanks very much!

No, I didn't bother turning any of the TVs on for the reason you mentioned, the rarely look good enough so I left them all off. I almost always add the TV in post and it is themed after the type of place it is. If you look closely, all TVs show old Loretta baseball games.

By the way, the fireplace wasn't on either. Cheers

Love the shots, PIxeljunkie, and the house is fabulous as well! Where is it located, if you don't mind my asking?

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

God, I wish I lived in the UK. Their design sensibility is lovely.

Unfortunately they're not all like this! A bit more LA style sunshine would be nice too :)

What a gorgeous house, Gavin!

Can't say I'm crazy about the minimalist Scandinavian interior, though ... must feel dead cold on dreary-weather days ...

Thanks!

Possibly, but there are enough rooflights and other high glazing to get a good amount of daylight all year round. It's the dreary grey days that bother me about England so I'd like as much light as possible. I don't think a house such as this will ever be on the cards for me though!
