The Ladd Observatory in Providence, RI. H.P. Lovecraft spent many of his teenage years here and was given open access by Brown University.

I am unsure which I prefer so I posted both, the face in the door is my favorite feature though;

Oaks Pioneer Church, originally St. John’s Episcopal Church, was built in 1851 and moved to the edge of Sellwood Park in 1961. It has been carefully and lovingly restored by the Sellwood-Moreland Improvement League and is now listed as a Portland Historical Landmark and in the National Register of Historic Places.
