Not Mike, nor do I play him on screen, but I use the Flex and Mini, and love them.

So what do you need to make it work? Do you need two of both. Or one of each? Just trying to figure this thing out...

i have little knowledge of the PW system, but have been following the wireless transmitter market for nearly a year while building other parts of my business and deciding what direction to head. I basically ignored PocketWizard because it seems they are not really releasing new products and keeping up with changes in the market.

IMO, the Yongnuo brand is about to take over the market, if it hasn't already. They are not only innovating but they are also listening to the requests of their customers. I recently purchased the YN-603 II C3, their entry level, full manual triggers. A pair costs 33 US dollars, and they transmit and receive so you can use them interchangeably. You can also use a spare unit as a shutter release.

The YN-622 system allows for full TTL, HSS, and camera control of remote flashes through groups. It is not compatible with the 603 but will soon have a camera top transmitter with a screen to more easily control the remote flashes. It looks pretty slick.

Would love some C&C from a recent gig. All with a top-mounted external flash.

Feel free to click for all images.
