Exposure Fusion is basically blending multiple exposures automatically much like you could do by hand in PS but in a much more precise manner. It is NOT traditional HDR but starts with a set of bracketed exposures much like HDR. Ladder, painter pole, tall hill, wall, car or truck roof or bed, combination of these, anything available. I always take a short step ladder with me. If I could get something taller in my car, I would. Ansel Adams had platforms made for his station wagon so he could put his tripod on the roof of the car. Riding on top of double decker bus to work the buildings look so much better compared to what I see from my low riding car. And probably lot less of distortion if you shoot from higher angle.
