Like the chairs around the table they look like they arent perfect and the two random chairs on the outside of the table, they dont seem to belong there. Also i would pohotoshop the cars in the parking lot out. Also the huge reflection in the center of the desk would need to go, a cp mau have helped. My Website: http://www.amairphoto.com

It's a nice shot. There's a very slight convergence. The blurred figure at the upper left may bother some but not all. What bothers me most is the profanity on the wall. Both personally and professionally, I would not have left that poster up. If it doesn't offend you, it will offend a buyer. Fortunately it's in an easy place to clone out and it's not a permanent fixture of the house so it's not deceptive to remove it. Hey Richard, I appreciate the feedback, I did miss the converging lines. I'm just starting to get people worked into these shots, so I'm working through the best way to do that. This blurred method is pretty common in architecture photography, so that's what I'm drawing my inspiration from. Of course one still has to get the right balance of blurriness, too much and you can't tell it's a person, and not enough will be distracting. I welcome other opinions on this matter as well.

Was that really necessary and does it add anything to the picture? For me it doesnt, especially seeing as though it looks like it doesnt math the interior of the kitchen and upper space. Hmm thats a good point, I think the style mixing was intentional, it would be a bit much if your entire home was retro themed? I really wanted to get the loft in a shot, but I kept the table in to give the space more depth. This couple has an eclectic style, but there are many components to that not seen here, so perhaps it doesn't look as intentional.

I am about to start taking pictures for my house listing and I am also considering selling my studio lighting equipment since I am not using it and don't really want to move it. I have a 580EXII (which I am keeping) but also have a couple of Einsteins. I'm thinking I shouldn't need them, and the only reason I would keep them at this point is to get my listing photos, but thought I'd see what you guys are doing first. I'll be shooting with a 6D, probably going to need to rent a lens as I don't have anything decent in the wide-angle department. 6D | 40mm f/2.8 | 50mm f/1.4 | 70-200mm f/4L IS | 580EXII | 2x PCB Einstein | Various Modifiers

Extend of lighting complexity depends on the client really, most of the time just HDR and some light tweaking will do, sometimes I'll light a bunch of things and see if it blends well together after, but definitely always bracket for HDR. You'll probably won't need an einstein just yet or at all really but I sure as hell would love to have one at my disposal, lmk if you decide to sell it. =P As far as lenses 17-40 Is a nice one, or rent a tilt shift if you want to play around. *edit, misread your post at first. CC welcome.

Thanks for the feedback. I should have probably clarified, I am not necessarily looking to get into real estate photography, I am just into photography in general as a hobby and am also about to put my house up for sale, so I'm going to take my own pictures. Buying a wide-angle lens probably isn't practical at this point since I've never really wanted or needed one prior this and don't see myself using it for anything else anytime soon. The Einsteins will almost definitely be for sale, you can PM me if you are truly interested but I will probably try to sell locally on CL first to avoid having to package and ship them. 6D | 40mm f/2.8 | 50mm f/1.4 | 70-200mm f/4L IS | 580EXII | 2x PCB Einstein | Various Modifiers
