Now is figuring out a way to select the shadows next to the fan blades.

Here's one way that I like. Its the overall best way that I've found for objects with hard edges: Selecting areas in PS.

I didn't correct the ceiling shadows... but I FINALLY have the look I have been chasing for the typical everyday house... What do y'all think?...

Curious to know how fast this shoot went for you!

My favourite shot is your 2nd image with the 1-point perspective — really draws your eye through the image past the kitchen towards the outdoors. Your 6th image posted also does a very good job of leading the eye through the frame through past the television and towards the outdoors.

Personally, I find the foreground wall exposures in shots 1, 5, and 8 to be distractingly bright. This could be corrected reasonably quickly with a gradient adjustment. Toning these down would work well towards making these images lead the viewer through the frame.

Overall though, great shots for making an every-day house look its best. I love how the rug really pops in some of these images.

Thanks for the info, I learned a thing or two. Now is figuring out a way to select the shadows next to the fan blades.

If i was you i would do the opposite, select the fan using the pen tool and then invert the mask.

What does everyone find the easiest way to get rid of the fan shadows?

If you're going to go through the trouble of removing the shadows, I would replace parts of the ceiling with an ambient only exposure. You could just brush it in where you need it with a soft brush at a low-ish opacity, similar to what DonJuanAmair said, but no tricky selections involved.

Here are a few shots from a recent high-end listing in Arizona. Let me know what you guys think! Sorry for both images being in the same general area, but they turned out to be my two favorite from the entire shoot. Anyways, thanks in advance for any feedback!

Using Photomatix Essentials for the first time....

Canon t3I, Sigma 10-20, 3 Brackets -2, 0, +2
ISO 100, F/Stop 8.
Aren't these pretty much the standard settings I should be using?
I didn't use a flash, probably should have. My stuff just looks like junk compared
to everything else here. :/

Got a ways to go in learning.... bare 1,200 sq ft homes are boring though.

Im having the hardest time with Photopshops adaptive wide angle tool, for some reason it just isnt working right. Anyone have any other tools that are great for fixing distorted images?

Looks great, and at a price I consider a no brainer from a business standpoint. Before I purchase, can I batch fix barrel distortion?

Im using PhotoMatix for subtle HDR bracket shots. Trying to improve my workflow. I have PS CS5 but Photomatix was much easier.

I'll purchase this or I heard PTLens is nice, But I don't think it's as nice as that...

Thanks
