This is only the 3rd shoot that I've done like this, so I'm just getting the hang of it and trying to figure out what lighting works for me (I did do a couple months of real estate photography earlier this year but that was all run and gun HDR stuff - though I did learn a lot). I've been shooting for 11 years now and so far this is the most fun I've had as far as paid gigs go. The base exposure on the exterior was darker than I'd normally have gone for but I just loved the mood with the dark sky, pink clouds, and the snow, it made the house all the more inviting I think. At any rate I'm still learning, trying to keep pushing things artistically and aesthetically while trying to keep it classy. Glad I found this thread!
