^^ wow, beautiful. What time of day was this? It almost looks like twilight but it's still pretty bright.

Thank you! This was right at sunset but the image is a composite. Patio from dead on sunset, sky from around 45 after and the lake from around 15 past sunset.

for the exterior mostly just a few pops of the AD600.

The interior I put this dome attachment on the AD200 bare bulb that was originally made for the streaklight. Works great in tight spaces & rooms with no white.

Wonder if something like that would work well for my Rovelight... I usually either direct flash wood or bounce on full power because it's quick (for RE).

For anything not RE I bring my reflective umbrella but it's a huge pain in the ass to lug around through doors lol

Looks great jooowan.

---------------

A few samples from a photoshoot for a client who contracted me to capture some photos of the renovation work on four medical buildings. These are interior shot samples from 2 of the buildings.
I left all the fire alarm and detection stuff in per the client's request.

What if you just put the diffuse cap on that the rovelight came with and point it at the room from the corner instead of bouncing it off that corner / wall? I remember having to do that a couple times when I had the rovelight (I actually kind of miss the them because it feels much lighter compared to the AD600 after like 30 mins of using them.)

this is what I have on the AD200.

So this place belongs to Jeff blue (multi platinum music producer and just a mogul in the music industry, this guy is single-handedly responsible for my alt-rock phase in high school)... and I got to tell him to "move out my way bro", the perks of this job loll.

Anyway.. the LEDs on the exterior totally threw a curveball on me at this one, and there was a projector.. any CCs or suggestions guys?

I wonder if this would work
https://www.bhphotovideo.com …8LX-SBoCg4AQAvD_BwE&smp=y (external link)

I think you handled the color cast really well... maybe a little more flash to tame down the purple wall but maybe that wouldn't even work.

As for the exterior, it looks really nice, I just feel like the sky is dark and makes the image look really heavy on the bottom. Maybe a subtle sky swap of some sort would work?

That globe modifier should work, can probably replace the shoot-through umbrella in a lot of situations.

Didnt want to swap out the sky on this one because those 2 beams of lights were on from the emmys, thought it would really drive that "you live right in hollywood" point home (along with ari gold heh).

I was thinking that was probably the reason why. I wonder if it would be possible to get them just a little bit early or if it has to be that dark for them to show.

yeah I kinda didn't even see it on earlier in the evening.. I think the video guys and I both fumbled a little on this one because there was so many people walking around and moving things throughout the day.

See the creases in the chairs? duplicate the payer in PS and then use the dust and scratches filter, use a layer mask and paint out the creases you dont want. Will improve this image a ton. It would have been better to take the extra time to make sure the room was set up symmetrical.

I agree with this, as well as another layer or two underexposed to save some of those highlights. Draws your eye right to the Chandelier.
