myself, and some friends used to run about 10 sleds in total in NH about 10 years ago.

wtf!
for an aussie i have never seen anything such as a sled on a race track before!
what sort of an engine is in these sleds and what sort of qtr mile times do they pull on average!
it looks like a shopping cart with castor wheels!
how could you steer such a thing!
i guess ya just hang on for grim death and hope for the best!!

Not sure what sort of engines they use, but they are well into the 9s and over 140 MPH. It's pretty neat to watch.
