I went out the other day with some friends for a little impromptu shoot. My new R32 (you may have seen the other thread -- that's why the photos look so similar) was a bit out of place among all of the Subarus, so I took some individual shots of the STis.

I tried my best with my limited equipment (30D and a tripod) and ended up having to do a lot of cloning. I hope things ended up looking alright in the end. I'd love to hear what you think.

It's more up to date than mine is.
The light on them is pretty good. You just need to move in closer. What was it about the buildings that made you think they'd improve the shots?

Move a couple buildings back so you get just the mountains in the background!

Knew those mountains looked familiar. Despite my location being listed as HR, i'm in Boulder. Nice pics!

They're unmistakable when you live in these parts! Cool to see some other local folks on the forum.

It's definitely a shame the buildings are there. I haven't found a good urban location to shoot cars that gives a good few of the mountains... Gotta keep searching.

Very true.

I'v seen that '04 STi around a number of times. I'll have to keep an eye for your R32, which by the way is very nice!! If you see me, it will be in a Cosmic Blue '08 Mazdaspeed3.
