Hi guys im trying to post my pics from flickr on here without just posting the web address, i want the actual image to show on the page? Can anyone help with this please?

use [IMG] tags around the image link - make sure you're linking to the image source and not just the page where the image is displayed.

e.g. [IMG]linklinklik.jpg(/​img)

...just replace the () with []

To save even having to type the img code round the link, the forum will do it for you.

Click on the

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'text/html'
button in the message toolbar and paste the link into the box that appears. Easy peasy! ;)

Hi Bob

From the menu Actions/View All Sizes. Choose the size you want/ right click the image, View Image or open image in new tab/window then the image url is in the address bar, or copy image location, then use the

Just FYI, when you link to an image in Flickr using the jpg link you need to also add the url link back to the photo.

In theory...I would say most people don't and it's very rarely caught.

Well thats what they would like it is in the rules,to make a full link, but no-one stands by it thats why they changed, they really should use BB code, as theirs is HTML, and some forums dont allow HTML unless its enabled, virus threats and all that its easy to ste up an auto download of a virus
