Shorebird migration has already started with good numbers of Least Sandpipers already seen. This year shorebird habitat will be great due to low precipitation and hot weather.

Some shorebirds like this Spotted Sandpiper is a local breeder. Photographed with a Canon 40D and 400 5.6L lens and tripod. Seriously looking at getting a Canon 500 f4 lens.

One of my favorite pipers. Beautiful shot and very unique to see one perched. Excellent.
