Silverstone F1 GP 2010 Friday Practice

Just thought i would share my images from my new 50D and a borrowed 100-400L. I sat in the new Arena stand for practice 2 session on Friday afternoon. As usual at Silverstone the rules re access to stands and terraces change every year. Attempted to get into Luffield Terrace with general admission ticket on the Friday but was not allowed. I have gained access to here with the same ticket for the last 3 years. And as usual the terrace was empty for the first practice session. Good old Silverstone !! C&C welcome please.

Very nice, what were your settings?

canon 50D
guessing a 70-300mm @ 260mm
F5.6
1/500sec
iso 100
center - metering

Good guess except with 100-400mm not 70-300mm
Tv 1/500
Av 5.6-7.1
ISO 100
Centre Weighted Metering
160mm for Schumacher
260mm for Massa

Have now sifted through my 500 shots and have more to submit but unsure on rules as to if I can post anymore. Someone please help me on this one....anyone!!! Thanks

I'd love to see some more images!

Great shots. Just read that Schumacher has confirmed that he will stay on next year. I hope that merc can give him a car that will allow him to perform like the old Schuuuu.
