What is the difference between the Canon 1.4x Extenders Version I and II? Thanks in advance!

from what I understand, the 1.4x II gained only weather sealing...


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I remember seeing some tests that showed the Version II having slightly sharper corners.

Seems like the new 2x is slightly sharper... by a hair.
