Off camera ETTL for under $20 is going to be extremely difficult. Here is an Off Camera eTTL cord for $35.

Yeah I guess if it is wireless it does not need to be ETTL

If you have a few flashes already...i used to use the first versions of PT-04TM's wich is a cheap chinese trigger.

They actually worked all the time when not used with the tiny cheap cords...just put them in the slots and fire away.

I always have someone laugh at me when i still use them on my DS3...but they work what can i say.

do a search on ebay for " TTL sync cord canon " there are plenty of Yongnuo ETTL sync cords for $12

wireless ETTL - that's going to cost a lot more than $20 !

For wireless on the cheap, it's hard to beat the RF-602. (external link)

For a TTL flash cable I use this (external link) from B&H

$20 bucks is tight. If you want wireless, a used cactus v2 might work. I had one, but it didn't work well with the 430ex. flashzebra is probably your best bet for a cheap reliable wired solution.
