and the lens has been released from customs so it might come monday i reckon

I have actually seen something similar.

A biker, knocked off his bike by a car, got up and walked over to the car proceeded to give the driver a piece of his mind while not noticing the driver going an incredibly pale colour.

Eventually he noticed the drivers colour and asked what was up. The driver pointed to the bikers leg which had a 1 inch piece of bone sticking out of it. The biker looked and immediately collapsed unconcious.

Turns out the adrenalin had kept him from feeling the pain but as soon as he saw it the pain registered!
