The first 3 shots are all with a ND filter allowing me to get a longer shutter; that's definitely the trick to these photos.

Get yourself a ND filter and go from there!

Thanks Golden Hunter....I tried to shoot it in the morning but the lighting was wrong......It went very overcast and dark in the afternoon so I went back and revisited the location and the conditions were so much better then.

1/3 of a second, hand held from a hike today. I took several at the same settings on continuous shooting, and this one actually came out decent. 24-105L at 50mm.
