Hello everyone,

After a wedding, downloaded the images and found out a few with the same problem. ANy idea what kind a thing is this? Is this the camera (5dMK2) the lens ( noticedthat all problematic pics were taken with 24-70mm) or something else? Pls give me a hint of what this can be?

Thanks!

I'd first check the integrity of your CF card. Second, I'd check the hard drive...chances are that its failing. Your hard drive manufacturer should have a utility to test your hard drive.

Just make sure you know that in addition you are shooting in aRGB and you probably don't want to provide them to your clients in that format.

@ PixelMagic- Its not the CF card as I shoot on several CF cards- all of them had similar images.

Then check your hard drive...I'm willing to bet it has faulty clusters.

BTW, don't erase any of your CF cards; you may need to download them again to a new hard drive.

Are you downloading via a card reader? If yes, did you try a different card reader?

@pixelmagic.. Yep, looks like you are right. Just checked the images in the camera- they are fine. Then downloaded it to a different hard drive-no problems..

Thanks for the help, somehow I was thinking on the camera but not the HD.
