By my definition, any activity where the participants can drink beer while playing is not really a sport.:)

Great shots, hotled! Back in the day when I had a bit of land for a runway, I used to fly those things. A few times I tried to take pictures of planes in flight, but it was so hard to keep them in the viewfinder, I quickly gave up.

Great fun! It's a hobby that can suck your wallet dry almost as fast as photography.

Did the P-51 have a landing gear problem, or did you just happen to catch it while the gear was retracting?

The gear was bent a bit, because he leaned on it while starting it.

I used to fly R/C for years so it was fun to shoot, but frustrating, them buggers are fast!
Everything did not go perfect today:P

mustangs are cool vehicles in any size!! nice shots.
as for sports.. well.. that has always been open for interpretation. this fits more into recreational activities.. (where beer drinking is allowed.. although in this case, wouldn't have helped the situation before the last shot... but maybe after...)

Thx for the comments. It was a bit rough out there with high glaring skies and the fact I had to shoot into the sun 85% of the time.
