Today is my country independence day and we had an air show.
Its the first time I take pictures of moving planes, and i got no spot, so i had to shoot from the terrace of my house, 15 km away from the center , so no helicopter shots, and i only had an old 80 200 canon lens, with no IS, so please be gentle with the critics.
Also the day was overcasted with few minutes of good sun
As someone told me here my speed was 250, 320 or 400 in some, ISO 200.
Please give me advice for next one ( besides getting a new lens and get closer...;o) )
Thanks.

#2:

Aperture: f/22.0
Exposure Time: 0.0025 s (1/400)
ISO equiv: 200
Exposure: shutter priority (semi-auto)

Among other things, there's no reason to use f/22 & ISO 200 for that shot? Besides moving closer, see the info & links in Shooting airshows in Manual

I got this lens cheap used (USM version - $74 US shipped) and use it for Aviation shots - great lens for the price....

You don't need to shoot at f22 - just shoot wide open as you're focusing to infinity anyways...

The only reason I decided on getting the 55-250 IS is for low-light indoor shots without flash...

Keep practicing - you'll only get better!

Muchas gracias...
