MOO prints seems really expensive though, $21 for 50 cards?

yeap, my thoughts exactly. Everyone that has seen has given great comments on it, and the thickness makes a huge impact.

I am planning on trying mpix next to see how the pictures come out on those cards.

I really dont hand out that many cards, except to friends and family...

i never thought of a business card as a big part of the business but it shows how you present your business and if the card is good, it could show how much you care about the quality of your work.

Just my 2c, I just spent the last month with overnight prints gettting cards printed and re-printed. I dont think their quality is up to standard. Their customer service is great, but other than that I'm looking for someone else to print my cards and I'm not that picky.

Completely, that's why I am never going with VistaPrint again. There are lots of other cards though that are better for less, almost $0.50 per card is a lot. I guess it depends what kind of work you do, I shoot sports so I hand out cards to lots of parents so those would go quick.

I ordered from Vista Print as well and they were horrible, the cards looked like they were cut with scissors, with white borders on parts of the card. The quality itself was horrible too, I don't like giving my cards out because of how much I hate them.

I'm looking to get some new cards and I love the look of these: http://nexcards.com/poly-frost-business-cards (external link)

Only thing is they are super expensive.

Those cards from nexcards look pretty awesome, fair amount of change as well but they offer some pretty cool choices

I just ordered 50 cards from Moo for free through Livebooks. They have a Livebooks and Moo logo on them, which I'm not crazy about, but it will give me a chance to see what their cards are like. I've heard a lot of positive feedback and am excited to see!

True, I actually found Taste of Ink to be cheaper in some situations. While the price for low quantities is about the same, they give you options to purchase up to 5000 at a huge discount.

I used mpix for my cards. They look very nice, and didn't cost that much.

I've used Vistaprint twice. I love my cards. If your artwork is correct and you order the glossy finish, they will look good. My second order come mis-cut. I just called and told them, and they sent me another box free of charge. If your looking for low cost they are the way to go.

Strange to hear so many bad things about VistaPrint. I've used them since day one. My first batch of cards looked horrible, but that's because I have always done my own graphic design, and I did not know how to create a nice business card. Now that I have five years behind me, my cards always look great. Maybe you guys were not ordering the Premium stock? They sell them in different thicknesses.

I'm looking for a place myself, used vistaprint a while back. and they were ok, nothing great. I don't think I tried the premium stock. However, what lost it for me was they kept spamming me after I unsubscribed and even emailed them directly.

I've seen some postcards from psprint that came out pretty nice. Not sure I'll go w/ business cards there or moo (like the multiple images on back, but not sure I will go that direction).

I use MOO, it's fairly expensive but not too bad, I don't give out my biz cards like cheap flyers or anything. I like how you can have all different ones, I usually offer a few for people to choose from, and it's great to show off your photography, like a mini portfolio in your business card holder. ;)

yeap. my friends and family have their favorite pictures from my little stack and i actually keep a few to do my own little projects.

i was surprised at how well they showed up on the card, but it was also the first time i have ever ordered business cards. the only reason i am looking elsewhere is because i think other places offer them cheaper and just as good quality...

I got mine done at MpixPro, and they came out beautifully; double sided, matte finish, perfect for me. Yes, not as inexpensive as vistaprint i'm sure, but $20 for 100 isn't too bad.
