Change folder defaults with Rebel XT?

I do some event shooting for a firm that prints on site, an their software works best with Nikon file systems. My XT, wth its multiple folder system makes their job much more difficult.

Is there a way to file the shots in the camera in only one folder? Or to have custom folders in the camera?

No to both questions. If the pics are copied to a PC before processing use DIM from alanlight.com, it's free.
