First real test of my new 70-200 f/4L at the Granby Zoo. The day was pretty overcast, it even rained a little, but I got a few good ones, I think.

Rebel XT+70-200 f/4L Non-is on each one. Comments, critics, and even edits welcome.

A bit of blur from the cage on this one, but still thought it was good:

Again, C and C welcome!

I found the lack of IS to be limiting on just a few shots (And the weather was awful), and I would never have carried a 2,8 all the way, so I think I made a pretty good choice.

I have just got the same lens and will be at a park soon.

In #1, if you could clone out the fence, it would actually look like you got this in the wild.

I try not to do this kind of agressive editing if it would falsify the picture, which it would. Basic sharpness treatment and raw to jpeg, that's all. Thanks for commenting, though.
