Hello,

I have an opportunity to work with a non-for profit.... Need some help w/ the paperwork.

The gig is an outdoor sportsman-shooting event....

I need a form saying I’m the exclusive photographer for the event, and another form saying I release rights of the images for advertising only (no sale or gift of images in permitted).

I plan to sell the images to spectators via my online store.

Please help...

Thanks,

Joe

If it is non-profit then the contract as you stated is correct, not allowed to make money off the event through your content.

It would pretty much be a free job deal.

Please explain more.....

They cant make money (i know) i was more worried of them gifting photos (I want to sell them)...

I was thinking of modifying my standard copyright release...

"1. Grant of License
This license grants the Client (“Licensee”) a single use, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the images. You may not sell, rent, lease, gift, or sublicense the photos to any other companies or entities not mentioned in this license agreement"

That would be fine but all it seems that they require is the photos which they can use for their publications.

It seems that their intentions are for you to take the photos and provide them for publication and keep a record for your portfolio. I would give them a call and see if you can both come to some sort of arrangement.
