I particularly don't like it when it's forced upon you. If there is a slide show, that is click-able ... and people want to add music to it (with a choice to turn off) ... then I am better with that! www.markzane.com

I look at it this way, music has different genre for a reason....different tastes. So chances are that you'll find music that everyone that goes to your site would like would be slim to none. By having no music at all, there is nothing for anyone to not like. Doug Cross

I have seen way too many portfolio sites with crappy new age music with the volume at maximum. I will forget my speakers are even on and then I get blasted by marimbas. Joby

I enjoy my choice of music when I am at home, not whatever some developer decided works.

mathogre Goldmember More info | I'm listening to my own music when I'm on the computer. When someone's website BLASTS my ears with their version of muzak, I'm out as quickly as possible. Graham

I mean, how many photographers actually sing to potential clients while they browse the portfolio? If you wouldn't do it in person, don't do it online. 40D | Tamron 17 - 50 | Canon 50 1.4 | Sigma "Big Ma" 50 - 500
