Looking for a small bag to carry ONLY my T1i with 55-250IS mounted. Plan is for small over shoulder type bag that is easily accesible on short hikes.
Will the Crumpler 2MDH or 3MDH be a better fit for this?

Id say the best thing for you to do is go to a local store, camera store, Frys etc and see what fits and what you like best. Thats what i did when i just got my T1i, now that i have more Glass i need more room. Saves the trouble of a larger bag on your shoulder since they usually hold a bit more then just 1 camera with lens and its pretty quick to access since they usually just have one flap you flip up and you can take your camera out

Jul 22, 2010 15:32 | #11 Think tank makes great holster bags that have a pop down feature for longer lenses. Sometimes I even use an Urban Disguise 20 for just a camera + lens since it has lot of zippered pockets for non phone accessories ( phone, keys etc ) Website
