Took my camera down to the beach last night as the light was good.

Shot with a 15-85 IS USM and 450D on a 190xprob tripod.

I like the composition. The break in the rocks lead you to the sunset.
I would like to see more of the foreground rocks however.
Hope you don't mind but just a very quick edit - opened in ACR and bumped up exposure for rocks.

Nice work Electric. I agree on brightening the exposure in the foreground.

Lovely shots.
Hunstanton is the only place on the east coast that faces west, is that correct?
Either way...lovely captures :-)

My first impression was 'WOW!". You might have followed the rule of thirds more on the first since the top of the sky holds less interest than the foreground. Also, a GND, or a stronger GND if you used one, would have balanced out the exposure for you. The lead in on #1, IMO, is very good. If that's near by, do us a favor and go back for more. ;)

Love the first one, and the edit too!

Thanks guys!

I don't mind the edit at all, but I've already pushed the original a long way in ACR and the foreground was getting quite noisy in the full size image so I decided this point was the best compromise between lightening and noise. Next time I'll remember to bracket some shots so I can bring a lighter foreground in.
