Great background, too. I got my first exposure to those guys outside of Friday Harbor a month or so ago...it really is an experience.

Seen them 50 yards off of Lime kiln beach on san juan island a couple years back but didn't have a telephoto lens. Great capture. Would love to see it a little bigger to get more detail.

Yeah, I can't imagine shooting it without a tele. My poor 70-200 2.8 IS has been not used enough lately!

Nice!

I went on a whale watching tour and LOVED every minute of it. My 70-200 with the 2.0x did wonderfully well too actually.

Now, to get my own boat and do my own tours lol that would be cool.
