£150 Camera Slider? Pah!

Thought I'd have a go at making a slider today.

Found these old skateboard trucks/wheels, and spent about 30 seconds taping a ruler to them. It just about supported the weight of the 7D.

Here's the first go I had with it...

How do you balance the camera on that??

I'd call it a roller or mini-dolly -- maybe it should be named the beneroller!?!

Yeah actually it is more of a dolly :p

Oh I just plopped the camera on the top and pulled/pushed it back and forth!
