Gave another shot at night time photos of cars. Here are some of my friend's Jeep. Suggestions? CC greatly appreciated.

#1 would look better with the wheel turned the other way.

Ok so the front tires should be turned the other way. Any other suggestions? I liked the way number 1 came out (however I do agree it would look better with the tires turned) but I would like to know how I can continue to improve.

no offence, but they kind of look like you just pulled over to the side of the road and took some snapshots...

If you're going to take offroad pics of a Jeep, make it interesting...not just a hard-packed gravel road...there's nothing really interesting in those shots...no scenery, no mighty off-road feat and a stock Jeep...

And by make it interesting I mean something like this:

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v358/LowriderS10/Sunrunner/DSC00907.jpg

That's a crappy cellphone pic with zero value as a photograph, but you get the idea...I took this picture a few days after I bought that 4x4...it was bone stock.

But at least it looks somewhat interesting...

^ well, its a good archival shot/reference shot which still counts as a photo.

and

"A background that doesn't kill the highlights that should be in the body & doesn't take too much attention away from the car."

Got it. Thanks for the reminder. :)

"#1: You used the sky to put highlights in the side, which is what I try to do, too. Try again with fewer/no clouds. Yup, forgot the highlights, but you got the less clouds part.
#2: The trees have killed any highlights in this one. No trees... good!
Read the links in my Sig..." You must have overlooked that one.

Seriously, I think you can do better.
