Hi guys, I was wondering whether the 5D mirror problem affects all the bodies or not.
I have a "36xxx" serial number, which means my camera was made in 2008; the body has about 7/8k actuations...no problem so far, but I'm going to India this august and I don't want issues of any kind.

So, since my 5d was made in 2008 rather than 2005/6/7, shall I send it to canon anyway (although they told me that there's no "reinforcement" if the problem didn't show up) or not?
thanks!

They basically install two plastic pieces that go on the side of your mirror. if you have one already on your camera, you don't have to send it in.
