I'm not understanding this. So we can't have a Business FB account? If so then why do they give you that option when signing up for FB? or is it that we can't post the same things on our business and personal pages?

uck!!!! I don't like cooked ones much unless it's a pizza sauce or something. Don't like cooked tomato chunks. LOVE raw fresh maters though!

I think it was a case of someone using a personal account as a business page. I have link backs to my personal page from the business page all the time...I don't think it is an issue...

I've been trying not to clog up this thread with TR stuff so as to not bore you with trivialities of the comic, such as it is. This, however, is an important installment for TR. In here, is frame 571 for this series. James Bovine, which up to now, has been the longest TR to date. Monterey Jack will, obviously, blow that away as we're only in chapter 9 with quite a few to go.

I just wanted to say thanks to those of you that follow this little diversion. :)

Holy wow!! You need to be 17 for a permit in NJ! 18 for a license.

I wish it was the same way here. We have too many deaths of young drivers in California, even with the restrictions placed on drivers under 18.

I think maybe the more rural areas have the age younger. In fact there are some states where a kid can have a farming drivers license as young as 14 I believe.

Actually, since the brought in the graduated license here, the young drivers are some of the best. For 2 years after getting their license, if they have even a whiff of booze on their breath, they lose their license and start over again. They are allowed very few demerit points, which basically means if the get 2 tickets in 2 years they are at risk of losing their license. Another good side to this, is that it gets them to use good habits as they gain experience, habits that will stick with them as they get older. When I was a kid, it was not like that. I drove very insanely much of the time.

Learners permit? He's had it for a year, done all his practice driving, taken his drivers ed course, and is now driving with the instructor for his license. He should have it in a couple weeks.

wow. That went by fast!

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #10747004 (external link)
Thanks.

A lot less you getaway drivers that way. :p

In AB it is 14 for a learners, 16 for a license. We drive kids around for 16 years, that is way more than enough.

Here it's 15 for a permit, 16 for a limited license...they can drive but cannot have anyone in their car (except family) for a year or maybe it's until they are 18. I can't remember.

When you were a kid? I'm thinking there is a certain Oregon officer who may think it may have lingered into adulthood.:p;)

But I'm 40 and have issues driving near N.Y. city. So 30 should be permit age in NJ.

Let me get out my calculator and check.

Hmmmmm......1967 minus 1957 does not quite equal 32, at least in Canada. ;)

I know we are not supposed to do religion but I have to share. I was hungry so I headed to the kitchen sorta hoping in praying I found food. It was not like a drop to my knees begging a god for nourishment or anything, just a lot of hope. So I open the fridge and a light, a light from above, comes on illuminating the contents. There in the middle shelf sits a before unknown marbled bundt cake. I swear I heard music. Yum . Sorry to evangelize but the story of the holy bundt must be told.

*begins planning bundt pilgrimage*
