pfffffft. Like a wall and a roof will keep me away from a bundt

and :p :p

Maybe, and just maybe, I would share the holy bundt with you. Okay WTH, you are in on the HB. Knock twice then scratch at the back door but don't share the secret knock with anyone.

I was so thankful when my epilepsy meds finally went generic. Over the course of the company switching insurances, it went from $300 to $175 to $5 to $50 and now $7. All the rest of my meds are $4 or $7 a prescription too. But man the days when we were paying through the nose for them were sure tough.

What Z is really trying to say is the HB has been consumed in its entirety.

Really? They don't care. That is the bottom line. Prescription medication is a business, at its heart, not an altruistic endeavor.

Like a lot of companies, if you are truly in financial hardship they have programs to give it for free or for in return for participating in surveys and stuff. Much of the MS drugs are relatively new and take a lot of research and expense in developing. There is really a lot of hope for a cure and they are not too too far off. Huge amounts of money are dumped into research. Once a good drug is developed and goes mainstream it will drop in cost.

wow. I'd hate to be a guinea fowl though (can't bear to say guinea pig lol) but on the other hand, we sort of are, every time they "try this to see if it will help". Gotta love "modern" science.

As usual, Z, your response is more thought out and reasonable than my knee-jerk 'people just suck' theory

And Terri is right, it is a business, not a charity. That also means they are motivated to improve drugs, make better ones, and in doing so make money. It is what drives the very good, fast pace, albeit expensive, development of new medicines..

Chinese medicine dispensed by minimum wage pharmasits.....

I renewed one of my regular prescriptions last month, and it had always been a little blue pill. All of a sudden, it was a little green pill. I called the pharmacist and asked if that meant anything, and he assured me it did not. It was the shape and the letters on the pill itself that I needed to be concerned with, and they were correct. I then looked up the manufacturer, and it was an American company, but the pill was manufactured in India.

I now have images of the guy who makes my pills doing gymnastics on a pole. I have a whole new respect......

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!
