And Terri is right, it is a business, not a charity. That also means they are motivated to improve drugs, make better ones, and in doing so make money. It is what drives the very good, fast pace, albeit expensive, development of new medicines..

 why you gotta go and be all reasonable??

I was a guinea for Celebrex....my script for that was almost 10K @ year. I often wonder how much damage I did to myself taking that.

Oh but boy does it work as it kills your heart:roll: Actually my mom has fibromylagsia and was willing to take the heart risks for the relief it gave her.

Like a lot of companies, if you are truly in financial hardship they have programs to give it for free or for in return for participating in surveys and stuff. Much of the MS drugs are relatively new and take a lot of research and expense in developing. There is really a lot of hope for a cure and they are not too too far off. Huge amounts of money are dumped into research. Once a good drug is developed and goes mainstream it will drop in cost.

Hope they come up with something soon! I know 3 people that have MS.

I renewed one of my regular prescriptions last month, and it had always been a little blue pill. All of a sudden, it was a little green pill. I called the pharmacist and asked if that meant anything, and he assured me it did not. It was the shape and the letters on the pill itself that I needed to be concerned with, and they were correct. I then looked up the manufacturer, and it was an American company, but the pill was manufactured in India.

I now have images of the guy who makes my pills doing gymnastics on a pole. I have a whole new respect......

I do hope you have found something for the pain, my mom lives with chronic pain, and I hate it for her and anyone else that suffers :(
