OMG!!! Bwaaahaaahaaaaa!!!! I'm watching "House" reruns. This lady comes to see him that doesn't understand why her inhaler isn't helping her asthma. House asks her if she is using it correctly. She says yes, do I look like an idiot? He asks her to show him how she uses it. She takes it out of her purse and squirts it on both sides of her neck like perfume!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Looking forward to sunflower shots, Crissa. It seems we have a renegade one growing in the back yard  I was kinda hoping it was a beanstalk *sigh* but sis identified it as sunflower

Off to work! Have a randomly fabulous day, everyone!

I'm headed out in a few to cover THIS (external link) for my newspaper. I hope I can get close enough to get some good shots.

That looks so cool. I hope they bring it up intact.

I was given that med just before my back surgery! I refused to take it!! The PA who wrote the script totally defended it but I wasn't buying it!

OMG! Bwahahahahahahahahahhahahaha

When I got it I only paid $50 for my co-pay...

I much prefer percocet! LOL And yes... well you can attest to that... it does make me loopy! hehehehehhehe

Yuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The holy bundt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bwahahahahahahahahahhahahaha that's hilarious Deb!!!! LOVE it!!!!!!

Speaking of all the medicine stuff.... I have been having breathing issues. I've had a rescue inhaler for the last 15 or so years. Every doctor says no asthma.. just a sensitive airway. Well in the last couple of years, I don't go anywhere without my inhaler... I used to never carry it and only had issues when I was sick. Now I carry it everywhere, and I have inconsistent, periodic issues with my breathing. I spent the last 6 weeks essentially gasping for air... I was really struggling in this heat... So I went to my primary doc who said 'ah it's just your allergies' and told me again that the pulmonary function tests she gave me do not indicate asthma. I have been disagreeing with her since she did that test 2 years ago... So I pushed hard at this appointment telling her I wanted an answer. She said well if you insist (YES I DO!) and sent me to an allergist.

Off to the Allergy specialist I go... I got tested for allergies and did another pulmonary test. Well I'll be damned... guess who got diagnosed with asthma yesterday! YEP! ME! He showed me on the test exactly what showed the asthma etc. My primary doc had said that the asthma maintenance meds wouldn't do me any good... well I now have a script for those.... and I now will be looking for a new primary care doctor. She refused to re-do the breathing test... she sent me to an allergist just to shut me up basically...

So I have some pretty severe allergies and asthma... Is it sick that I am excited that I now have a diagnosis and that a doctor listened to me??

Well, you may be a bit crazy to begin with Jenn :), but I think you should be excited to finally have the correct diagnosis and will now get proper treatment.

OH and I forgot!

I got to go to a fire scene and walk around with the fire investigator and take pictures! I also got to watch the arson dog at work! I was in heaven!!!!! Unfortunately because it was a crime scene I can't share the pictures... However if ya PM me.... hehehehe

So I had an AWESOME day yesterday!!!!!!! WOOT!

Sounds like you had a great day

I am feeding a friends cats while they are away next week, I went over to get all the info and such yesterday. These are the COOLEST cats I've ever met. One of them ran up to me and begged like a dog, the other wrapped his paws around my hand and made me scratch his cheeks! They are so sweet, I am looking forward to hanging with them and I am going to try to get some pics for their skin parents.

They got them as 3 year old siblings from a local rescue that had them from kittens. I've never seen friendlier cats in my life.

Sounds like you will have a good time Crissa.

Gonna drive a friend and her family to the airport, then come home and relax for a bit, before having to get ready for work.

It does, but it was not a friendly encounter. They was fighting to see who gets the high point of the beach.
