Wool, nice landscape shot.
JJ, fantastic shots there.
Paula, nice flowers (and weeds ;)).

They say with age comes wisdom. Thus said and being, I believe the eldest female in here, I shall offer the following sage advise:

Going through these scans I'm amazed how quick the kids in the family are growing/changing. It hit hardest when one of those last night was Aiden's newborn picture. Having just had him for a week at now the ripe age of 4.

My advise is, forget the rules, composition, etc., etc. and take some snapshots of those you love dearly. The memories the shots invoke in later times will be priceless.

*Step off aged platform to much younger ground level*

Sage advise from a wise old(er) woman. :D

oh I'm so irritated. I ordered a battery from JR.com. On the 13th, via Amazon. Paid for 1 day shipping. Called them today and they said "call us back after the 24th or 25th...if it's not there then maybe we can do a re-shipment of this item". GRRRRR I only ordered from them because B&H didn't have it. :|

I have been working in London for the last 3 days but came home to a nice surprise. I posted my Speedlight 850 to CPS on Saturday and It arrived here yesterday morning with a replacement PCB and finder unit, just tested it and it is working perfectly so the will have received it on Monday and dispatched it fixed on Tuesday. Not bad service given some of the horror stories you read about Canon service on here.

That's great Neil, I really believe the service is mostly great. Not too many make a point of touting great service, but they do scream like hell if they feel their expectations were not met.

Oh, well some hot soup or spice like Harm said to clear it out from the inside. KWIM?

Ugh, lunch hour is up, phone's message light is on, and Email notification is up. Next 3 hours look like they will be busy.
