oh I'm so irritated. I ordered a battery from JR.com. On the 13th, via Amazon. Paid for 1 day shipping. Called them today and they said "call us back after the 24th or 25th...if it's not there then maybe we can do a re-shipment of this item". GRRRRR I only ordered from them because B&H didn't have it.

stupid business. I think they just lost a customer.

I have been working in London for the last 3 days but came home to a nice surprise. I posted my Speedlight 850 to CPS on Saturday and It arrived here yesterday morning with a replacement PCB and finder unit, just tested it and it is working perfectly so the will have received it on Monday and dispatched it fixed on Tuesday. Not bad service given some of the horror stories you read about Canon service on here.

Nice of them to turn it around so quickly.

Best iPhone app EVER

Half way through a very boring meeting yesterday a coleague showed me his latest iPhone app. I downloaded it immediately. (and it's free)

I produced THIS with it ...... enjoy

That is funny Neil, although, I don't think Harley and Sookie are gonna like that to much.

Baby sitting at moms house. The little kids next door rode through the barrier and were playing on the fresh $4K concrete driveway. Becca spoke to the mom, she seemed pretty disinterested in the whole thing and didn't even bother coming to see what happened. The kids are outside unsupervised all day everyday. Guess whilst I'm finishing brushing out the damage I'll be their babysitter.

She honestly looked like we were just bothering her by bringing it up and that now the kids would have to be in the house bugging her. I think she would just laugh if we mentioned monetary compensation. The house next to my parents home is a duplex, the lady is on public assistance. My parents have the largest home on the block, with a double lot and up kept very nicely.
