So I have some pretty severe allergies and asthma... Is it sick that I am excited that I now have a diagnosis and that a doctor listened to me??
I am glad you got answers. Always get a second opinion. Doctors are like mechanics, some are better than others and they don't all know the same stuff.
OH and I forgot!
I got to go to a fire scene and walk around with the fire investigator and take pictures! I also got to watch the arson dog at work! I was in heaven!!!!! Unfortunately because it was a crime scene I can't share the pictures... However if ya PM me.... hehehehe
So I had an AWESOME day yesterday!!!!!!! WOOT!
Cool!
Are you suggesting that Zane is not normal?
You could be on to something there....carry on.
Lol!
Taking my mom out to my niece's place mid-October in Richmond, VA. We are driving and will be crossing over the Blue Ridge. There is hope that I'll be able to meet up with some of you while I'm out there.
Off to the office. Later all.
See ya then.
Nice shot
Full bushes. Excuse the weeds surrounding them. The RV Park obviously doesn't believe in much upkeep

Hi
Taking your camera out of ice cold A/C on a hot, humid day can lead to interesting results.
Blue Ridge Parkway, Flame Azaleas and Swallowtail.
Nice shot
They say with age comes wisdom. Thus said and being, I believe the eldest female in here, I shall offer the following sage advise:
Going through these scans I'm amazed how quick the kids in the family are growing/changing. It hit hardest when one of those last night was Aiden's newborn picture. Having just had him for a week at now the ripe age of 4.
My advise is, forget the rules, composition, etc., etc. and take some snapshots of those you love dearly. The memories the shots invoke in later times will be priceless.
*Step off aged platform to much younger ground level*

Short duration prescription drugs are subsidised and free to people on benefits and pensioners. Long term drugs are free. Sometimes the UK gets it right.
Sometimes, providing the drugs are deemed cost effective and available. Also you have to reach a level of sickness through MS flare ups before they will start treatment. MS is a progressive illness but symptoms, in the beginning, are remitting and relapsing. They like to wait until you reach a level of disability over there before giving you the drugs they deem warrant paying for.
"Beta Interferon in the UK is a postcode lottery. The drug's cost and availability of funds in different health authority region mean the chances of being treated with beta interferon vary widely, depending on where a patient lives and the policy of the local hospital."
That is also providing they manage to actually diagnose MS. My sister is terribly ill, can't work, often can't walk much, going to the store can totally wipe her out. She desperately wants to work and ride horses again. After several years of advocating for herself she has had several blood tests and an MRI. After the MRI, and every test, she was told it was normal there for she was fine. The normal range for stuff they are looking at is so incredibly broad what is considered normal there is off the charts here. Then the process starts over of scheduling a long off appointment, seeing a GP, showing them previous tests with no results, getting something else ordered and waiting months to get it done. We showed the MRI, the one the NHS used to say "you do not have MS", to my nero doctor. He pointed out it was the wrong type and in no way accurate enough to be used in a MS diagnosis. Sis again has advocated for herself, and the NHS agreed the MRI was worthless and ordered the correct one to be done months down the line.
Obviously there is great medicine there and many break thorough. If you have a heart attack and go to the hospital they are every bit as capable of saving you as here. The problem is unless you are critical, and live in a good area, getting effective thorough health care seems iffy at best.
A holy bundt melee...nice (sounds like something Robin would say to Batman)
Lol
fer crying out loud, I'm LOSING the battle with a sinus cold/infection.

I have been working in London for the last 3 days but came home to a nice surprise. I posted my Speedlight 850 to CPS on Saturday and It arrived here yesterday morning with a replacement PCB and finder unit, just tested it and it is working perfectly so the will have received it on Monday and dispatched it fixed on Tuesday. Not bad service given some of the horror stories you read about Canon service on here.
CPS always gets my stuff back in 3 days.If I overnight it on Monday I will have it back wends day or Thursday.
