Terri, have fun on your walk. :D

Dan, I fully read and understood the felling in the 'Waiting' drawing.

IT WAS A GRASS SEED! *whew* He's got a drainage tube in his lip and it will have to be removed next week. He's on antibiotics & pain pills. And everything cost half of what they said. *thankfully*

No problem. I just got home and looked at my subscribed threads and saw that the page number was quite suspicious - and looked at the last post- just in time to create the new one and post the 10,000th post. :D

Good news, guys. :D

Randomly lovely.. :D

The Fish Dood looks 15 years younger with fewer scales!

No doubt. I am always amazed when friends who normally wear facial hair shave it off, just how much younger they look.

That's good news!

Major relief with accompanying happy dance.

Glad to hear it, Lisa, and my apologies for bugging you.

Speaking of major relief....

I took the cameras out to take some specimen shots of the lenses I'm preparing to sell, and the new 7D was dead as a doornail. I put in a spare battery, still dead. When I got home, I put in yet another battery that I took directly out of the charger. No glory.

"Okay," says me. "I'll just bundle this puppy up and take it back to the store in the morning. I opened it up to get the CF card out------no CF card. "Hmmmmmmmm," says I. "I wonder....."

I put a CF card in it, and it works fine. Apparently the 7D tells us we don't have a card in it by playing dead.

My second biggest relief of the day.

Belmondo wrote in post #10592158 (external link)
Nothing. No display, no beeping, no little red lights. Nothing. I figured I had a corpse on my hands for sure.

Perhaps the CF card door wasn't closed all the way and you closed it fully when you put the card in...

Kinda screwed that up, meant to say good news to Lisa, and congratulate Chris on some fine precision moderating. :D
